Validity, Renewal & Cancellation of EPR Registration
- At present, the registration granted by the authority under this rule shall be changed only on the request of Producers, Importers & Brand owners
- The registration granted shall be valid for a period of one year, unless revoked, suspended or cancelled and shall subsequently be granted for three years.

Who Can Apply for EPR Registration?
EPR Registration is required for manufacturers, importers, brand owners, and companies involved in handling products like plastics, electronics, and hazardous materials. SKMC Global supports businesses in these categories, ensuring they meet all the criteria set by regulatory bodies.
Documents Required for EPR Registration
- PAN, GST, CIN, and IEC (for importers) of the business; Aadhar / PAN of the designated individual
- DIC Registration (should the device be DIC-registered)
- Process flow diagrams (exclusively for PWPs and producers)
- SPCB/PCC consents (if the unit has a production plant)
- Scanned copies of the signatures of those with permission.
- Cover letter Geotagged images of the production, raw material storage, product dispatch, and plant machinery (only for PWPs)
- Records pertaining to whatever other information the unit feels like sharing
Process of EPR Registration
You must submit an online ERP application, the required paperwork, fees, and information in order to receive an EPR license.
The following are the steps involved in EPR registration:
- Documentation: Make sure you have a copy of all pertinent documents on hand in the forms of PDF, JPG, or PNG before completing the application.
- Obtaining login credentials through registration: Filling out the application is the first step in the application process, which also involves self-registration on the centralized portal to receive login credentials.
- Application submission: The applicant will obtain login credentials after completing self-registration, which they can use to submit the application. We have created separate application pages specifically for importers, brand owners, and producers. For EPR Registration, the applicant must fill out each part and provide any necessary paperwork.
- Submission of application fee: The Applicant shall pay the application fees along with the application for Registration. The fees shall be paid online using the payment gateway integrated on the portal.
- Application processing: Online applications submitted by PIBOs will be forwarded to the relevant SPCBs/PCCs on the same portal for additional processing if the PIBOs operate in one or two states. The applications that remain will be processed by CPCB.
- Grant of EPR Registration: Appointed officials will review the registration application and grant EPR registration within 15 days. Applications that contain fraudulent information or documents will be refused.
